Women's Clinical Research Center, located in the University Village neighborhood in Seattle is a growing, dynamic research center focusing on Women's Health. We are the largest independent Women's Health Research Center in the Pacific Northwest.
Position: Research Assistant Status: Full-time Responsibilities: This position mainly provides support to Clinical Research Coordinators. This work involves data entry, filing, preparation for study visits, interaction with study participants, phone triage, receiving and distributing study supplies, preparing & shipping specimen samples to appropriate labs, assembling test kits for study participants, ordering and maintaining supplies for studies, providing support to coordinators for various regulatory requirements, and additional special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Applicant must have strong attention to detail, have the ability to adapt and be flexible as this position supports multiple coordinators, and be self-motivated and efficient. Solid people and organizational skills as well as a strong working understanding of computer software (Word, Excel and Outlook) are required. A data entry background as well as some understanding and experience in research and specimen processing is helpful. A bachelor's degree is preferred. This is a perfect job for experienced medical assistants looking for a different challenge. There is room for advancement. Prior experience in a medical office is required.
